I recently read an an online article about an artist that I really enjoy listening  to and many recording artist I know have been  inspired by him.  The artist which whom I speak of is non other than the multi talented  Bruno Mars. He disclosed in an interview that his platinum chart topping song “Treasure” was inspired by a song titled “Baby I’m Yours” by the French born DJ Producer known as  Breakbot. If Mars had never revealed the artist, song and inspiration to what lead to “Treasure”, I probably would have not  discovered the artist Break Bot who is now one of my favorite Euro-Electro Disco artist that I am definitely a fan of.

Below Is a list of songs  that are definitely influenced by other artist, some of which that even crossed the line and ended up in litigation. My thought is that we all draw inspiration from the works of others but, passing said work off as our own is definitely where the line is crossed. What are your thoughts?
